On November 29, 2025, a public discussion was held at Reporting House with photographer and museum contributor Ridvan Slivova, who explores photography as a form of documentation and as an artistic language.
Drawing on Slivova’s long-standing work in the field, the discussion addressed the role of photography in preserving collective memory and interpreting reality. Topics included the documentation of war, image ethics, and the fine boundary between artistic and documentary photography.
The event was open to all those interested in discussing photography, its ability to shape our perception of reality, and the ways in which it transforms into a visual and artistic language.
