His film, titled \u201cCentro di Permanenza Temporanea,\u201d which translates from Italian as \u201cTemporary Detention Center,\u201d and refers to Italian temporary camps for undocumented immigrants, evoking a paradox between temporary and permanent existence.<\/p>\n<p>Paci\u2019s work challenges viewers to contemplate the state of those waiting on a lost cause, trapped between the transitory and the fixed. It symbolizes the broader dislocation migrants worldwide experience. His work has been featured at the Venice Biennale and in major collections like MoMA and the Guggenheim.<\/p>\n<p>Currently his work is exhibited at Reporting House. It is ever significant as displacement and migration are a constant outcome of conflicts and wars.
